Choughari Kishalaya Sangha, established in 1980, is a registered social development organization dedicated to improving rural livelihoods and community welfare in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The organization is registered under the Indian Society Act, 1880 (Registration No. S/28465) and recognized by multiple national regulatory authorities. To ensure transparency and institutional credibility, the organization is registered with NITI Aayog under the NGO Darpan Portal, holds 12A and 80G registrations under the Income Tax Act, 1961, is CSR-1 registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and is also registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA). For more than four decades, the organization has worked closely with rural communities to promote sustainable livelihoods, healthcare access, and social protection through grassroots initiatives.
